And life goes on…

Nothing makes four months fly by like the third trimester of pregnancy and having a newborn!   And with that, I apologize for the hiatus of this blog.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about the focus of this blog.  At first, I felt a little lost, that while the blog existed for me to share my life, I felt like I needed a topic.  A specific little niche.  Was it living healthy?  Was it crochet and crafts?  What about running?  Or even what life is like being a mother?

The more I sat back and thought, the more concerned I felt about the state of my blog.  It was like a run on sentence with ideas and while my posts did well, generally, I felt like it was time to scrap it and start over.   And starting new usually means not doing it at all.

But honestly, when I think about being a working mother, that’s EXACTLY what life is like.   A giant run on sentence.  Really, hear me out.

As a mother, it’s a constant juggle of being:

1) A wife

2) The mother to three wildly different children

3) The career woman

4) and then me

And while the order doesn’t matter, those four major roles tend to bring up a lot of topics, thoughts, and feelings.

So this blog maybe a jumble of different topics and posts, but that’s what this blog is: The Trials and Tribulations of Me, trying to survive in this crazy world.

About Jamie Webster

Just your average blogger. Married 2 years with two wonderful children who are 6 years apart. Little about me: I’m turning 31 this year (yikes), have had 9 foot surgeries in 8 years and have spent a little over 4 years of my life in and out of a wheel chair (or scooter). And today, I am training for a half marathon. I attribute two major changes in my life to my healing: the power of goal setting and going gluten free.
