About Jamie

Jamie Webster

Sometimes I dress up…

My name is Jamie Webster, and I’m just your average blogger. I’m married, have been for 2 years. By day, I’m a attempting to be a super mom to two wonderful children who are six years apart, and a professional, working in the banking industry. I also run a Fitness Coaching business Geeks Get Fit. By night, I’m a woman trying to cram everything else that needed to be done in two hours so I can go to bed.

Kid 1 – Em who is 8. She came with my husband as a package deal, and I feel blessed that her parents share her with me.

Kid 2 – Nat who is 2.5 years.  I actually had to give birth to this little trouble maker.

Kid 3  – Currently trying to kill me.

This blog is exactly what it’s called: Trials and Tribulations. It’s a collage of all the things that I have done, am doing, and want to be. A little about me: I’m ta 30 something working mom, have had 9 foot surgeries in 9 years and have spent a little over 4 years of my life in and out of a wheel chair (or scooter).  And today, I am running 5ks (personally, my favorites are the ones where I get drenched in color).  You can read more about journey in this post.

I attribute two major changes in my life to my healing: the power of goal setting and going gluten free. (Don’t worry, I won’t be shoving why you should be gluten free down your throat, because I don’t think it’s an option or even healthy for everyone, but I will share how it’s changing my life in hopes that no one has to blunder through health issues like I did.)
